Rear view camera near 3-rd brake stop?
Rover 75 saloon.
I am about to fit my rear camera. But I`m in toughs - where? The manufacturer recommends: 1. Near third stop brake lamp inside the car/I prefer there/ or 2. On chrome assembly lamp rear license plate /will be dirty all of a time/ Can anyone help me with some pictures from the installed near third stop brake lamp? Does it give clear view & observation? Any reflections in red, or from the Sun? Thanks!

Thank you!!! Any reflections in red from the stop light? Any other disadvantages observed during usage? Where exactly did you fix it? PS: Mine is part of this set.

I would recommend if the camera is an auto exposure model (most are) that you have less than half the sky in view, or you can find the image will appear to be quite dark (same applies to the front view also)

If you look at the rear screen, on the drivers side, at the top, there is an area that has no wires for the heated rear window. That is where I have mounted mine. Been there for over 12 months without any problems. No vibrating.

Mounting is quite close to the screen, leaving space to be able to clean the glass, and central on the shroud. Mounting to the screen would have been ideal, however I note yours is not suitable for screen mounting, and mine did not sit discreetly for me.If I was you, with the set up you have, I would consider something like THIS or THIS or THIS ( mounting somewhere around the numberplate lights for total discretion).

Thanks for the advices, guys!
Will try on the place without heating wires first. Afterwards if unsatisfied with the result will buy one from the cif`s mentioned. Brrrrr - the spending never ends
