Your not the only one Simon, I'm exited and even the Sprayer likes the idea, he said he was board just painting cars the same colour and when I told about this.

He liked the idea and even given me a few pointers as well.

My mate has a paint shop and we painted mine. The finish is all in the prep work. Sanding down through grades of wet and dry paper. Take care removing trims as the clips can mount up to £££ if broken. I did all the prep in his shop over weeks, he painted it and then we colour sanded it and machine polished it with g6 then a finishing polish. Loved doing it and to have had an input in it meant a lot to me.

The costs of the prep work paper and panel wipe was not much. Mate had all the stuff so we used his stuff he costed it into the paint price. I had to do it there as I had no where at home to dry store it. Some of the panels on mine we down to bare metal as it was badly scratched. It was like this when I bought it and was cheap. Masking up took hours that was my job to. Here are a couple of photos.

Wow you've done hell of a lot on that, bet you were glad when it was finally painted.

I'm going too have a go of rubbing her down and getting the areas masked.
I've sprayed and painted smaller things in the past, but not a whole car.

The only thing I'm worried about is ballsing it up.

Trying too mask the areas and also some of my paint designs will be awkward too mask.

I think you might given me enough courage just go for it and learn as your doing it.
