Been and picked up this car today and saved it from near death.

That's the one Pete was asked to find a home for by the deceased previous owner's family isn't it?

I look forward to seeing it back on the road, you can't get better value than free

You are right sir the previous owner pasted away and his family had had some crazy offers that is why he gave it for free so it could be put back on the road.

We had a lot of interest in the car and it was most heartening to see so many wanted it. I hope we get a few more and other members are able to take them in too.

I wouldn't have liked to have had to make that decision - how did you determine who got it? was there an apprentice style boardroom for applicants?
