A very sad day yesterday..
Yesterday our family said a very sad farewell to our beautiful German Shepherd Tyler he was 11 years and 4 months old and a poorly old man , I thought I was prepared for the vets but you never are it was hard very hard but I had to be there , we had known him since the day we choose him from the litter at 3 weeks old we visited him every week until we took him home at 10 weeks old , I am struggling big time with the whole thing but I know in time it will be better ....
God bless you boy , see you soon... Here he is at 3 weeks old..... And here around 5 years ago...

Yes it's true they become part of the family, I cried when our Rob had to be put down, not easy mate, you are not alone when an integral part of the family departs. Rev |

Sorry for your loss.
Tyler has gone across Rainbow Bridge and whilst he will be having lots of fun, he will be waiting for you.

Sorry to hear that Steve, its very hard when you lose a pet. Our Milka (Toy Poodle) was over 18 when he left us, longer than some kids stay with their parents. The only consolation was we didn't have to involve the vet, he passed away during the night in his own bed at home.
The big hole he left in our lives was filled by the two idiots in my signature pic below! |

Sorry to hear this. We lost our Meg 3 years ago. We had her for 10 years. It was heartbreaking and we shed many tears. But it does get easier, it may not seem it yet. They really do become part of the family.

What a lovely dog, they are part of the family and it's a devastating blow to lose any of them.
Sorry to read this sad news.

I know how you are feeling Steve, I had to have our German Shepherd (Saber) put down a couple of year's ago. I don't mind admitting that I cried while the two female vet's put him out of his misery in the back garden that he loved so much. We will be reunited one day, of that I am certain .
