And that's before you've even STARTED on the Project Drive elements..

Exceptionally clean looking motor, though [FACT]

Cheers,

It say cambelts changed x3 in 07/2012, which would be the correct number.

A lovely motor but that is a very optimistic price.

The problem here is that you wouldn't want to drive it & put more miles on the clock!

Yes he has sold a few over the last couple of years. Don't know what the final prices are, but he does shift them.

He doesn't touch 1.8's though, just diesels and KV6's.

Crazy money for a 13 year old car but I suppose if you want an almost new one they don't come up that often this good.

But, what else can you get for circa £10k if you have romantic visions of slowly cruising around the cobbled streets of Cambridge, Oxford, Durham etc. in an appropriate car.

Something like this car, an S-type Jag of similar vintage.... The choice is limited.

If/when I purhase another 75, it will most likely be a tourer and, one way or another, will end up costing around £10k to achieve the standard that I will want for what will no doubt be my last 75 purchase.

Mrs MSS' CDT, now owned for 4 years, has £9k in it and it's her daily drive.

This particular car is obviusly not going to be purchased just for the trips to ASDA and the skip site.
