Question No alarm sounder

Left my bonnet open and locked the doors because I wanted to test the alarm, pressed the bonnet sensor, and no sound to be heard. The indicators go off fine but there's no sound. Anyone know what would cause it? And where I'd find the alarm sounder?

Alarm sounder is next to the pollen filter in the plenum.

my alarm has the same problem.
mine also don't bleep if something is not locked fully.
changed the alarm horn for one I know works and it made no difference.
6 months on and I still not solved it.

Do you have an alarm horn, or a BBUS?

If it's a horn, it's probably seized up due to no use. It'd need replacing.

Does the alarm LED flash when the car is locked?

It may be that the alarm has been disabled at some time on T4 in the options menu due to either a mistake or if the alarm has been triggering for no apparent reason

If this is the case the alarm sounder will not work without being enabled again.

the key fob LED blinks once, then pauses, then blinks repeatedly. I have no idea what that means, or whether that's just because im not within range of the car at this second.
