Morning all - our weather is doing a passable imitation of me today - grey, cold and a bit dim. I was supposed to be taking the missus to the doctors this morning - but the surgery rang at 8.00am to say the doctor had rung in sick
I need to book a few things today which will dramatically reduce my bank balance - caravan service, caravan valet, and a new master cylinder for the clutch on my car - I'll be round with the begging bowl later

Check the wheel bolts on the caravan following the service, my cousin took her year old caravan in to be serviced, took it away the following week and lost a wheel on the road.

We suspect they hadn’t fully tightened the wheel after doing the brake service.

Good morning all. 30C is forecast today and I am still under the effects of the shingles with one eye in use. The last of the scabs fell off during the night and feeling of the sensations from the numbness is coming back with the pain which is all part of the healing process. Thankfully the opiates are helping.... positive thoughts, happy campers and caravaners....I will knock this out for you - Hi de Hi!!

Ho de Ho Phil
Glad to hear you are on the mend, albeit slowly.
You're definitely in a warmer place than I am - we're still on heavyweight fleeces and occasional central heating here

Thanks for the warning Andy - whenever I get either the car or 'van serviced, I usually slacken all the wheel nuts off, and then nip 'em up the appropriate settings with a torque wrench. Especially if it's been in for tyres, the wheels on the car have been OVER tightened, thanks to hairy tyrefitters with windy guns

The guy I've booked does quote on his list of service items that he torques up the wheel studs - I shall watch him !!
