Today - Up until now, I managed not to take anything for the pain since 5 a.m. The eye specialist is confident the new treatment will hit the virus down, but he said it could take 2 months to work......I thought to myself “when will all this end”. Health care here is all private, no NHS. This means it’s not difficult to see a specialist or to get an appointment and no cancellations.

Tomorrow and on Sunday, the eye will get 4 treatments each day. The treatment peaks at 1.5 hours after the drops have been instilled, so by Sunday evening, I am hoping the swelling will go down and I will be able to see out. Don’t worry if I don’t post up much. Apart from the eyesight and the head, everything is hunky dory’s lol

Have a great day driving the locomotives, what fun
Very sorry to hear this news Phil.

Get well soon and do as you are told.

Best wishes to Jessica.

Funnily enough there is a cab rock/roll on those class 45's built into the game.

Blimey Phil It must be difficult to deal with a closed eye let alone the pain, I hope the treatments today & tomorrow bring some relief.

Evening all, It's been overcast for most of the day and that north westerly wind feels much colder than the high of 9C we've had, mind you I've been driving trains all day
Holy Moly the graphics on that new northern train sim world screenshots
train sim world northern pennine
Trans-Pennine Leeds-Manchester route I bought yesterday are nothing short of stunning. superb.

I've been on Class 45 & Class 101 tutorials instead of jumping in the deep end without reading owt

A lot more involved with actual controls on this game,

Finally got around to fettling that Win10 PC which wouldn't update certain updates, four & a half hours it's been running & just finished, what a palaver that OS is

Fish finger & salad cream butties for tea and just as good as I remember them from childhood.

Never drove DMUs (101 etc) and never particularly wanted to There's an old BR training film about the DMU fault finding on Youtube, driver tackles a fault then has another and another etc, its like the shift from hell!

TransPennine train route looks interesting. Does it go past Leeds and on to York?

Windows 10 is something I have but do not really use. I still use Windows 7 sometimes but my preference for daily use is still Windows Vista which I still maintain and protect using a different version of Windows Essentials and the updates from where it is still supported on Windows Server 2008.

This gamer PC I bought is on Win 10 pro, these train sim world games are mostly for Win 10 OS's but they're starting to produce them for Linux OS's and play station's.

This new game is fantastic I got it in the Spring sale 30% off for £17.99. I took some screenshots of the cab/controls which are identical to the real thing but I cant find them .

I've not ventured past stalybridge and Ashton under lyne yet but it terminates in Leeds as I think York will come under East Coast mainline service.
