Hi.
One of the reasons I parted with my 75 was problems for getting in and out of the car. My late wife Anne had problems with it too and she suffered with Fibromyalgia. Recently I got a lift in a new Honda Civic, it was even worse than the 75, far far to low.

Had a jaguar xe courtesy car while my freelander 2 was in for some work. Lovely car but a bigger to get in and out of. I was glad to climb back into my landrover!

I suffer from DISH, and I am also 6'2" and I have often thought the same thing. How on earth is this an old man's car lol.
I have a sticker on my window asking people to allow enough room for me to open my door fully. I park, whenever possible in a place that will allow me to fully open the door. On my bad day's I leave the 75 at home and take the Suzuki Splash. Huge doors, high seating position are the reasons it has always been a mobility car favourite.

Since we are all to make a fuss with our age & sufferings, I'm nearly 66 and I suffer since long of Modic disease. My better half 65 has got arthritis as well and she is complaining that the 75 is a bit low.
But no no no way to part neither with my pride & joy nor with my better half! Hence I bought her an ergonomic cushion (colour close to sandstone) where she sewed a nice Rover badge on. No more complain since... I cross fingers & the rest...

I am coming up to 74,have a little difficultly getting in and out, but worth it. My wife who is coming up to 70,not as agile as me,was always complaining about getting out of the car. So she bought herself an x-trail,i am the only driver (chauffeur).

I'm afraid that is what will happen to mine, my wife has struggled with it for some time, I'm finding it increasingly difficult. She had a Swift as mentioned, and now has a C3 Picasso, both of which are more upright. I've also got a VWT5 Caravelle but don't find it half as comfortable as the 75 (once in it!)
