I would like to fit rear flaps only to my facelift once it comes back from the bodyshop. The expanse of bumper on the sides often gets festooned with grime and road debris Original rears are as rare as rocking horse poo, with a price to reflect. Second hand ones on the Bay of the Flea are pretty much fleabitten.
Can anyone recommend any new aftermarkets rear facelift flats off the Bay of the Flea or elsewhere?

If you are thinking of removing the mud flaps then personally I would only removed the front ones, remember if you do remove the front ones you will need some new small bend piece when you take them of, the part which our cars have on if no front mud flaps are fitted. I am currently on the look out for face lift rear mud flaps my self

In any case, these mudflaps appear to be for a MK1 judging by the pictures on the site.
I might just buy a cheapo set from the Bay of Flea and match the profile as best as I can for the facelift.

Maybe this will help, maybe not :
My car is a facelift one. Have had mudflaps on for years now. No problems, no damage to the paint or bodywork, only need some inspection from time to time. They do their protective job brilliantly. REAR mudflaps (OEM) for MkII do not exist. As far as I know there were none actually made, even though a serial number does exist. You may correct me if I am wrong. FRONT: first had an OEM set fitted, but ruined one mudflap in deep icy snow (my mistake entirely). Then fitted front and rear sets bought from Sean at 75andZT.com. I am sorry to read some of you had bad experience with him (and I fully understand the bitter warnings) – I have not, and I bought (and received) lots of stuff from him (and I am not advertising for him). Anyway, these mudflaps are a bit shorter then the OEM ones (front), which is in fact OK, and can be mounted directly. They do their job perfectly. The rear ones needed only slight trimming, a 3 minute job, and they fit and perform perfectly as well. Also, they seem to have remained quite flexible through the years. I guess in the end it is the matter of liking or not liking the looks (I think they do not do much damage in this sense, and in my case at least this is outweighted by the damage they prevent), and how regularly one checks the car (debris, crud etc. as mentioned in some posts). |

I'm actually looking for a Mk1 set if anyone knows where I can get new/very good second hand set.
When I fitted them to my V8, I waxoiled the bodywork behind them and fitted them with full SS screws, not zinc or painted ones. I think they do a good job of protecting against stone chip damage. |

Rimmers has got them: https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-GRID001516 I bought a front & rear set from Rimmers one year ago. I'm happy with them even some mates in France especially dislike the look of them but I don't care: it's my car!
