Hi Steve, no I didn't take any photos except one where half of my knuckles are gone trying to remove the intercooler pipe. The kids have loads of sympathy of course ... Dad, what are you like ! and that's it.

To be honest the photos would have been pretty identical to ones posted by beinet1
Whats the problem with the power steering your having?

EDIT:

I got this one that shows the pipe connector on top of the intercooler quite clearly.

Bible Haynes reads: 60k miles or 4 years.
I bet yours has reached the second limits long since...
When I bought mine (Cowley built model - 100k miles then) in September 2017 having no information on that matter that was one of the first services I ordered at once.

Hi Steve.
My power steering pipe as/had a pinhole in it, the metal pipe corroded and gave way, bit similar to the photo above but the pipes snake round each other couple of pics only so as not to mix up the thread. note time of first photo & the last one, that's how long it took to remove that rusted torx bolt, hexagon bolt going back on.

This good tip from Stewart earlier in the thread may be of use as well. Why didn't I think of it when the connector was being a pain to separate.

That looks a real pain, hex bolt so much easier but it will probably never be off again.
You still have the gold FL?

Is this the same on the face-lift 75? I think it has a different oil cooler.
Pete.

Yes Pete, mine is a later cooler. Plenty of wd on the pipe union or disconnect the pipe from the gearbox.
