That's a good idea Thomas.
One National held at the same venue in the geographical centre of the country and held say on the second Sunday of July every year.. a bit like POL but with good weather and toilets

Cheers Ian

Thanks Ian I know not everybody is going to be happy either way. It's a thankless task but it is understandable.

The majority of owners in Scotland live no where near the border.
I reackon Scotland will vote out of UK soon. So any meet there won't count as a National.

Thanks Ian, and to make it clear I’m not criticising your excellent work. All the ones I’ve seen videos on look to be very well organised and well attended. I was nearly at the Eden Camp one but yet again work got in the way

The geographical centre of Great Britain is Haltwhistle in Northumberland, so what about a National meet at the Tollymore Forest Park near Newcastle

Thanks for the info Ian, Gate Keeper had given me a tip-off, but good to have it confirmed

You'll never please all the members all of the time, but I certainly can't complain about the location of previous Nationals, they've been scattered around as best you can and the ones I've attended have been very good.

In all fairness, this whole forum's existence is based upon a certain car, so travelling some distance to meet like-minded enthusiasts gives the perfect opportunity to drive the things !

Just bought MG ZTT V6 from Birmingham area in January and the National meet is at Fleet Air Arm Museum in March , only 15miles away. What are the chances?

Fleet Air Arm, great museum, a good day out. Also worth going to the Haynes Motor Museum if you get the chance
