Sell the one's you don't 'really' want and buy the one you do - reading between the lines I know what you want to do and you might well regret it if you don't.

You have a pretty awesome backup team and potentially a bit of money to get it sorted - so what could go wrong

You probably need to look at it though - with a backup - but do it

I am going over Friday afternoon. Lets see if "Bluey" still has his mojo. One thing. The insurance asked if it was standard and I wasnt sure. Thinking about it, it has one of those chrome air filters like a cone. Is that a big insurace problem?

Is it worth having on? What does it actually do, make it go a bit faster due to airflow? The downside is I really don't want to let Bones go, but this was Paul's and stupidly, that means something to me. This is the only pic I have of it, ironically with Bones just after we had bought them both. Andy, with it standing for awhile, is there anything I should look for other than obvious corrosion on discs and tyre bulges?

Take it for a run, listen for grumbly wheel bearings, also check the brake pipes for corrosion if its been stored on anything other than a solid floor.

Its been on a concrete driveway, thankfully. Trusting "madam" after the last attempt to have it is not easy though.
