Well spotted suzublu - maybe it was on the crossover point between the 2? A fine example and why oh why these go in the crusher is just criminal. How many miles has it done and does it run well?

You like it now, but it will soon change to love

If it was a part exchange the dealer may have given an over allowance to entice them to change but stood that 75 at nothing (siv which stands for stand in value), then to dispose of it would cost them money in the auctions, so down the recyclers for £100.

99% of car sales staff have no interest in cars, it's just a job that pays well! Trust me I know, they all think I'm rather odd.

Well I've managed to give it a long run over the weekend and love the drive an sound it makes also my 13 year old prefers it the every day car too, only thing I found the doesn't work so far is the heated seat drivers side the back door handle is a bit stiff and the cruse control seams to lose speed but that gives me something to play with. Is there a specialist in the northwest area who works on rovers for servicing cambelts ect that anyone would recommend also I found in the paperwork the bill of sale 22K was a lot of car for the money even back then.

Top of my head you could ask Matt at DMGRS, a drive over to North Wales to see Jules, or head over the Penines to see BigRuss.
