Default Slack in Drivetrain?

I have an issue with the ZT.

When setting off there is a slight rotational noise (not grinding) before power is taken up. It appears to be coming from the o/s. There's also a slight knock when lifting off or foot back down again while driving.

I'm minded it could be either the lower engine mount or a hub/driveshaft issue. Any further pointers?

Wishbone rubbers (behind front wheel). Jack up front wheel, hold wheel at 3 and nine o clock and see if you have any rock in the rubber mounting at the back.

I hope it's not the rear arm bush, I detest changing those things.

However----the driveshaft is not a lot of fun either.--

Put your wheel nut removing tool onto a wheel nut and lift it up and down, if the wheel moved backwards and forwards its the Wishbone bush that's US. I did not find mind difficult to do,
