If your a Mk1 nut then not many opportunities to get something nice to keep but IMO +£9K is currently just plain daft. As always, it's only worth what someone is prepared to pay so good luck to him |

Been for sale for ages and when he puts a realistic price on it, he'll sell it.

During the NEC Classic Car Show I had 3 people approach me and say they were looking for a 75 and were happy to pay for a top example. From talking to them I'd say 2 were deadly serious (the other didn't seem genuine to me) and of those the one gent was pretty specific the price wasn't the issue if it was good enough.
If this trader is getting those sort of prices then all credit to him. Ultimately it's worth what someone wants to pay. |

With such low mileage on both of these cars though, as I said before, you wouldn't really want to put more miles on. |

I do wonder why these cars get undersold so often.
There's a trader near me who held onto a 1.8t for seven months until someone was willing to meet his asking price. He told me people kept saying you can buy these for xx amount, he told them, maybe, but you can't buy this one for that. When he sold it, it went for the screen price less half a tank of petrol. |
