Beast of a car.

I really like the neat beige interior it reminds me of the interior of another car (HINT: it starts with a R and ends with a R)

Some points which might come in handy.

Hi Pete

I have done quite a bit of homework on these vehicles, and also have had a few good tips from marinabrian, hopefully I can meet up with Brian and he can have a look at the car for me and any issues found it will be covered by the warranty.

This will be my first auto I have owned so we'll see how things go with that.

Doesn't look anything like a Reliant Scimitar interior

Bear in mind one thing Ray, if it hadn't been for me buying Chris a Freelander fourteen years ago, I would not have had a need to buy a TestBook, or indeed a T4, so that car has a lot to answer for

The car in question, a 1999 XEi station wagon had a weird and wonderful fault which I tried in vain over a period of six weeks to cure.

Finally I admitted defeat and contacted an ex LR service tech who had becom an indie, five minutes and £70 later I knew what the fault was, and the search began for the all elusive dealer diagnostic setup........the rest as they say is history

That Freelander was meant to go into your hands Brian,

It saved many 75s and it gave their owners that little bit extra umph
