Default 75 & ZT owners with duff MGF Heater Fan

If anybody on here who's got an MGF with a non-working fan; usually 1st and 2nd speed non-working and wants to try the resistor fan repair. SEE HERE

http://forums.mg-rover.org/showthrea...40#post1224740

I've done mine and I've got half a roll of the wire (enough for a few+) left over if anybody wants to send me an SA(stamped)E for a try at it yourself. PM me - 1st come first served etc. I'll send enough for all 3 coils but you'll probably only need 2 coils.

I just cut the wire to length; wound it round a pencil then soldered it in. Took about 1 hour inc removal/refit. Works a treat. Do read the instructions carefully - glove box lid is 4 screws then lie on seat with head under dash. Small handled pozi needed to get rear mounting screw out.
