What rubbers can you recommend
HI all ,, I,m looking forward to replacing 4 tyres,, I v seen some Goodyear Vector 4 season tyres for £65 each ,,But I not sure.... Please no one recommend Avon (Calling) been there done that and will never wear those rubbers again... I,m thinking mid price, thou if somebody can tell me of a good cheap brand I,m all ears... Would love Michelins but do not fancy selling an organ... 215/55/R16

If no Michelins then maybe Falken tyres for £77 each: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175221101...Bk9SR4i_1LqcYg Those have great grip under all circumstances. The Goodyear ones are very good on a wet road but relatively bad on dry surfaces according to tests from road assistance clubs.
Edit: the third generation of the mentioned Goodyear tyres seems excellent. Last edited by timon; 22nd June 2023 at 16:03.. |
