Default A couple of suggestions

I,ve just been looking on the northwest information sites for attractions up there.for places for a meet, came up with a couple of suggestions,

Oswaldtwistle mills in Accrington, various activitys on site as well as shopping for the women.

Camelot theme park at Chorley, prices for groups start at £9 each, which is quite good value, and they do corporate days out,and team building days ,so I,d imagine they have rooms that we could use,

probably bad ideas but I,ve tried,

Come to North Wales, Llandudno. We can hire a Complete Event Field and there is plenty to do for all the Family, Beach, Theatre, Ski Slope, Tramway up Mountain (Great Orme) Shops for the Ladies, Bars for the Gents and Clubs, Disco for everyone. Plenty of Hotels (over 60 on Promenade).
We could do a senic Convoy around the Coast Orme (toll) road.

There's a Classic Car Rover day at the Quainton Railway centre near Aylesbury, Bucks, on the Sunday of the late August Bank Holiday. If anyone's interested, I'll try and find out more, and see if they'd be happy to see a few 75s and ZTs (usually free entry to the centre!!)

Hi

The idea of suggestions for the next meet is fine as Christopher and I do not know the NW very well at all. Can I ask you though that if you have any suggestions please PM them to me and I will store them to check out at a later date. We have never asked for suggestions for the meets as we would get 99 different locations and would possibly choose one which would then offend 98 others. So please any suggestions to me on a PM and they will all be looked at by us. The club obviously must make the decision as there are usually many decisions which go into a meet as you no doubt appreciate from simple things like parking through to permissions for traders, prices and charges. As soon as the club has decided on a location the normal posting up announcement will take place but it will not be for sometime yet

Cheers
