Mater or slave? Clutch to the floor 75 CDTI

I had to abandon my 75 in Cumbria on the new years due to the clutch peddle going to the floor, it started as the peddle not popping back up but would work when pulled back up for a while then it just eventually stopped working all together.

I filled the master with some fluid but after some pumping nothing is coming from the bleed nipple on the gear box. I am due to go up there later today and swap out the master cylinder with a new one to see if it works but I thought I would ask you guys to see if it was more likely the slave which would probably mean a wasted journey and possibly the end for the 75.

Bleed it and leave the clutch pedal back in the up position then disconnect the quick connector to the slave cylinder. Try and press the clutch pedal down. If it is rock solid likely the slave has failed, and if the pedal goes down then you are lucky and likely it is the master cylinder.

Off that will save a fair bit of faf early on if its not the master. fingers crossed.
