Default Is this the right ATF coupling to undo?

I'm about to fully change the ATF in my '04 diesel by following this excellent post but all the pics are I presume of a petrol model. Can someone please confirm that this is the right coupling to undo and replace with a drain tube into a container?

Yes, that is the correct connector it is labelled W . Ease the inner plastic collar up gently with a blunt implement until it releases the collar - the pipe will not pop off by itself, you have to give it a gentle pull once you have moved the collar up.

A couple of pics of the connector. The second pic shows the inner collar fully engaged with the outer collar, with the connecter ready to be pulled off.
Tommy :-)

Thanks for that, it's very helpful.

I was under my car yesterday looking at that connector. My car is due an oil change, too.
