Your restoration looks awesome!

Good morning all,

Yesterday’s visit to see the cardiologist went off okay. He said my blood pressure was excellent and blood results were nothing to worry about, weight has been stable for the past month. He had also lost weight as he is of a similar age and build to myself.

When I asked him how long I needed to stop the blood thinners to have 2 broken, infected teeth pulled out, he said 5 days but to ask the dentist to stitch the gums up afterwards.

Ageing is the bitter bottom, but has anyone noticed how as one gets older, breaking wind gets easier

What is everyone up to?

Morning Phil, morning all.

Good news on your blood results.

Wind certainly comes easy to me

I'm off out in a minute to try and get some sunrise photos.

Not exactly sure where yet, But Dovercourt, Harwich or Felixstowe are looking favourites.

Catch you all later

It didn’t start out as a restoration…………..it never does
I took it off the road in errrrmmmm quite some time ago with the intention of replacing the front wings. These were done, but I decided to go a bit further into it & it got new sills & some repairs around the filler neck area. The underside (most of it) was cleaned off & given a few coats of red lead followed by white smooth hammerite. Then the project stalled & it has sat around waiting.
A recent burst of enthusiasm has seen it pulled into the middle of the workshop & steady progress being made.
I have set myself a goal of the end of March to be back on the road. If everything goes to plan this should be easily achievable

Morning all, Brrr! Thick frost on everything here.

Morning Phil, Good news on the blood pressure. Yeah getting old ain't for sissies that's for sure, Oh yeah breaking wind comes just getting up out of a chair these days lol.
There is a full laundry basket so looks like I'll be on washing duties with that infernal tumble drier going all day. That long journey my missus went on yesterday has knocked her out & she's still sound asleep.

Morning from a frost free Scotland, well hear it is. Problem with going back to a cooker top kettle is it takes an age to boil

Hold on, you drove for ScotRail? Wow! I'm too young to remember those push-pull sets but I did get up close to 47501 a couple of years ago, the sound and associated smell was quite something. Were you passed on any other traction?
