Been chucking it down since lunchtime here. And not looking likely to stop anytime soon.

The forecast for first thing in the morning looks OK but the wet stuff is due to be back later on tomorrow.

Good morning everyone from sunny Saltash.

A very special day today for me. It would have been our 27th wedding anniversary. Would have been going over to the cemetery, would have stayed at Michaels, today. But not this year.

Morning Bob, Andy and Ian - t'is sopping wet here, with little sign of it improving.
Think I'll spend a day tidying up my computer - in terms of what's filed on it. If I though my loft was full of physical clutter, it's got nowt on the digital clutter on my laptop

Morning Rod, It's an 'orrible wet rainy day here too, the driveway & part of the front garden are gradually getting submerged

I've been in the garage this morning peeling me onions

Pickling onions I grew earlier in the year along with some gherkins I grew too

I'd pushed those plants to the back of the greenhouse & forgot about them

The gherkins grew to a foot long

so it's chopped up gherkins in white vinegar.

I ordered a bunch of different spices to put in the jars but they've not arrived yet, Still only getting one post delivery a week instead of daily.

It's only just stopped raining here,after persisting down most of last night and all day. I went out to retrieve two wheelie bins (recycling & garden waste this week) and ended up sitting in one and paddling my way back up the drive

Typical start to a Bank Holiday weekend.
