wind deflectors removal
seems a silly question
but old ham fist here can break anything without even trying whats the best way to remove them ? remove the clips with a screwdriver first or will they just pop out with a tug ?

I've always just given them a tug then fished out the clips with a pair of long nose pliers. The clips may well pop out with the deflectors anyway. They really aren't that firmly secured. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It's actually a Good thing if you DO damage the deflectors (not the car tho)
then you won't be tempted to fit them again pointless noisy things that they are Paul. |

I disagree as a smoker they are invaluable for leaving the window open in the rain to stop the wipers soaking you :P

now all I have to do is get the windows down with a flat battery which may be problematic to hook up jump leads as its the fire damaged one

You will still be able to pull them free but you won't be able to recover the clips with the window closed! It won't be as easy but still possible with a little care. That's how folk pinch them! I'm sure you'd be able to source new clips easy enough. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Good idea. When I had them on there was 2 clips to each deflector. Oh, and that bit of double sided tape that's rubbish! When the window was open they flexed around a bit. Never seemed that secure. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
