Very nice Rev, Enjoy your meal. I'm eating a shedload of Haribo sweets that were leftover from Halloween, I dare say I'll make a pig of myself & feel sick by the end of the night

7 Miles is really great going with your group. I belong to a walking group in North London which was set up by my GP for the over 60s for carers and upwardly mobile patients. We walk the great parks, meet up for gossip and a cuppa. It’s also for people who are on their own and suffer from loneliness. Most of them are old birds who have left their husbands or outlived them. It’s not so much about the walking, it’s more about meeting up and looking out for each other

LOL I think you're right Steve, That definitely looks like a child size portion to what we usually see.

Like Steve, I now can't stand the smell of smoke - I hate walking past the High Street pubs when the drinkers are standing outside having a fag

Another worthwhile byproduct of not using the weed is the reduction in house decoration costs
Cant remember the last smoke I had, would be pre kids, so before July1998. Stopped smoking cigarettes in my early 20s, but that was easy, as I never did it long enough to get hooked. Went on to cigars for a while, but only very occasionally, and once the kids arrived, I stopped completely.

Morning all, a foggy start here, hope it lift's later and we have some sun. All I can hear is a thudding noise outside and I wondered what it was until I realised it must be the Artillery on the ranges firing the big gun's .

Morning Steve,

We get the same when the wind blows the right way.

There is an artillery range near Southend which is about 30 plus miles down the coast but you can still hear the dull thud and feel the pressure when they are testing

See that garlic bread stick?

That was one half of it as I had already eaten the other half

If the wind is in the right quarter we get strange noises ,it seems louder during the Sprout season

And that's from 70 miles away

Every now and then, its very, very loud, seems like it is coming from just down the road

Soon I'll find repose

And then I'll hold you in my dreams
