An uncle has recently moved from hospital into a bupa nursing home in Croydon to be near to a son. He had a major stroke 3 months ago in the West Country. An active man, golf and cycling most days....never smoked. The stroke left him brain damaged with no abilities to string a sentence together and he has to be fed. By all reports, he is 'living in his own world." I will drive later to see him. He might recognise me, he might not, but he is family and you do what you can.

Good morning all,wet start to the day here,but a full day of football to watch.
Then off to a small family party tonight.

Mash, chicken and leak casserole for scran tonight . So far today I have watched the Grand Prix, Argentina v All Blacks, Sheffield Thursday v Leeds, currently watching Everton v Burnley and then the big one... Newcastle v Liverpool .
