Sorry to hear Rich's news - as others have said, your friends on here will all lend an ear if it helps mate.

The news from Devon this morning is that it finally seems to have stopped raining, and the wind has died down considerably. Looking at the BBC's weather forecast for the next week, there's a chance of a small shower on Saturday night - but apart from that, warm/hot and sunny. Let's hope they are right - I've seen enough rain in the past three and a half days to last me the entire Summer.

Whinge of the day - the guy on the next door pitch has got a storm strap on his awning - very sensible, except for the fact it slaps on the awning roof whenever there's a gust of wind - sounds like a clap of thunder
