Yup - daft time school run again today, 'cos number one son doesn't get back from his boys' weekend until later.
At least I'll be back home well before any of the threatened storm hits this side of the Pennines - not forecast here until early evening.
Hope everyone to the West gets through it safely

Morning Derek - at the moment it is ridiculously warm out there. I've just walked down to my son's house and sweated buckets. It looks as if the threatened storm might just miss us, although there is an amber warning for tonight for strong winds here.

Good morning chap's, the wind is getting up and it's beginning to rain here, could be the start of the storm that was forecast. Yesterday was a lovely day, I managed to get out on the motorbike for a couple of hour's

Good morning everyone, It's raining & the sky is very dark, It's almost 8am & some of the solar lights are still on here

The breeze is getting up & the strong winds are due around dinner time here.
