Sorry guys, its the first time I have managed to get on here now to confirm a few things.(christmas shopping)
Firstly this car is a CDX code which is Copperleaf, However Lewis is right mixed withamborgine to create Razen brown. The dealer Tim Wilcox has been working with Rover of some name for 80 years throughout this family run business. These guys are very experienced and very much Rover/MG die -hards. Tim knows his Rovers and Wilcox went to Rover to buy this car 1 year after the shut down because they knew the special history of this car.Tim said it is called Razen brown, and yes Rover,Austin,Morris have used browns before why not? Russet brown, Harvest brown etc etc...so this Razen brown is the real deal. The car which is not a 05 version of the but indeed a 03/04 build one so this would fit in with the 2003 built Rover 75. There are only two of these colours in the world of RAZEN Brown. This is the car they tried out Razen brown on before using it on the Rover 75. Rover used this car for themselves until after the firm were no more thats when Wilcox grabbed it. This must be one of the most desirable ROVER 45's to come out of Longbridge due to the personnel oversee of John Towers to test out the car. Tim at Wilcox are getting me pictures today of this very special car in saloon format. The better version. |
