It seems photobucket are to now charge for third party hosting.Anyone elses pic's disappeared?

Thankfully I have subscribed for a couple of years.
That enabled larger storage and the removal of ads, it still is a pretty shoddy service now though and I only use it for phone snaps for hosting.

I stick to Flickr for the important stuff these days.

I subscribed last year and all seems OK with my stuff and links on various forums.

It was about £30 I believe.

To be honest the updated version is awful and if it wasn't for me not wanting to lose all my old hosted images on here and elsewhere I wouldn't bother.

That and the fact that images quality is downgraded quite a lot from their originals.

I only use it for phone snaps these days and certainly not for anything important!

Oh well I'll need to sit one night and download all my images off photobucket and find somewhere else to host them. I have Flickr and don't know how to post to show the images here or elsewhere lol.

I downloaded all my pictures from Photobucket to my laptop, then uploaded them to Imgur, simple enough to post onto here too, just click on BBCode to copy then paste

Photobucket have got a damn nerve to ask for payment for 3rd party hosting

especially lately when it has been taking me about 10 minutes to post an image from there with the amount of junk adverts you have to get through just to copy a picture

Photobucket has affected some of my photos I have posted on the forum, so I am now going to start using flickr.
