Final Call For Crofts Door Finishers - Offer Extended Until End Of August
Following on from the previous thread where potential interest was gauged for the viability of a further production run of door finishers
See here, the minimum order number has now been achieved, and Crofts has agreed to contact the factory to proceed. The exact price to pay for a set of Door Finishers for this current run has now been confirmed by Crofts as follows: UK Orders £47.70 Overseas Orders £50.75 All members who have put their names down, will now need to pay via Paypal immediately directly into Crofts Paypal account, before the order can be 'signed off', and definately no e-cheques please, as they take too long to clear. For security reasons, his direct Paypal email address will not be posted openly here, so all members will need to PM any of the Moderators who will then supply the details you need, just click on any of our names below: Reebs Baconbuttyman Boot Hill Bandit Dragrad pab Parker Simondi Thomas1983 This offer has been temporarily extended until the end of the month, So if you were thinking about it, now is definately the time to act. Please note. If you are putting your name down from TODAY 20/08/2010 then we will be requiring IMMEDIATE payment thru paypal. Here is the definative list of members requiring them thus far. If you want to get a set while you still can, post a reply on this thread stating how many sets you require (each set contains four finishers, one for each door), and we will update this master list accordingly. 1) dodgydave 2010 x1 2) dallcorp x1 3) shaneyboy x1 (Paid) 4) the_Kman x1 5) pab x1 (Paid) 6) Starman x1 (Paid) 7) radi8or x1 (Paid) 8) rogerls x1 (Paid) 9) Mark P. x1 (Paid) 10) Mannie x1 (Pending) 11) A Rover? x1 (Paid) 12) avon x1 (Paid) 13) Lost Soul x1 (Paid) 14) Frankfurt-rover x1 15) mikem47 x1 16) djw40 x1 (Paid) 17) Baconbuttyman x1 (Paid) 18) Rover66 x1 (Paid) 19) Newcybrown x2 (Paid) 20) Gren 24 x1 (Paid) 21) Loki x1 22) Relpet x1 (Paid) 23) vmaxrider x1 (Paid) 24) Austingarages x2 (Paid) 25) TheRover x1 26) Mobeetie x1 (Paid) 27) dcw x3 28) Stubie x1 (Paid) 29) Ian Stewart x1 (Paid) 30) bucklesham x1 31) Dave Cooper x1 32) Argle18 x1 (Paid) 33) Yosh x1 (Paid) 34) freddie x1 (Paid) 35) Frank Incensed x1 (Paid) 36) K1AAS x1 (Paid) 37) MindTheGap99 x1 (Paid) 38) broadaces x2 39) vincenzo x1 (Paid) 40) egremont x1 (Paid) 41) Godders 75 x1 (Paid) 42) hibsfan x1 43) Hinged_Bap x1 (Paid) 44) MisterTomez x1 (Paid) 45) fudgie66 x1 (Paid) 46) Air Rover x1 (Paid) 47) MIT x1 (Paid) 48) Kurung x2 (Pending) 49) ramshaun1961 x1 (Paid) 50) nicmad x1 (Paid) 51) priitkuusik x1 (Paid) 52) sratansi x1 (Paid) 53) bobbymu x1 (Paid) 54) yt51 x1 (Paid) 55) KO52ARY x1 (Paid) 56) Dave Smith x1 (Paid) 57) Roymaskrey x2 (Paid) Total number of sets to date = 64 For those who don't know, the original MG Rover door handle finishers were made of plastic and proved to be a very popular accessory, so much so that they quickly sold out. However, Crofts was able to measure the exact dimensions of the originals, and produce an almost identical looking replica set but of much higher quality. These newer versions are brass plated, and extremely durable. Once final numbers are confirmed and 50 or more are reached, Crofts will collect all monies and proceed with the order dealing directly with the factory. He will then pack and despatch to members. Our thanks once again go to Dave (Crofts) for stepping up to the plate and organising this for us

Having just spoken to Dave (Crofts) He has now confirmed the final price of a set of finishers for this run, and it is as follows:
UK Orders £47.70 Overseas Orders £50.75 This offer will now run for a further 7 days from the time of this post, and will close at midday on Thursday 19th August 2010. So if anyone is thinking of getting a set, you'd better speak now as the clock is ticking Just post a reply stating how many sets you want (you get four finishers in each pack) Crofts also wanted me to remind everyone that he has over the years of doing this, tried to keep it as a 'special' for members to enhance membership & avoid profiteering. It is his sincere hope that any unused sets be offered to other members first, and that if sold on, the asking price be that of the original purchase price thus preventing opportunists from 'taking advantage' of his offer to produce these. We would all hope that everyone respects his wishes, and acts accordingly. |

Payment sent for 2 x sets.
I have actually sent the Paypal payment as a gift, on the transaction it states that there are no fee's to be paid by me the sender or charged to the recipient. The recipient would receive the full amount of £95:40. I'd rather do it this way to avoid the fee's charged by Paypal. I did read about members being charged a fee for sending as a gift so here is the Paypal help page on sending money which explains why. Last edited by newcybrown; 13th August 2010 at 10:46..
