Default n/s rear door

don't know if anyone can help but the door started to get hard to open from the outside then would not open at all only from the inside. I flip the child lock switch on the side of the door now it wont open from in or outside.
regards kevin

You need to remove the door card and adjust the bar that connects the handle to the solenoid, it is a knurled bar that clips into a plastic bracket, undo the bracket, line the rid back up, snap the bracket closed and all should be well again.

Mine did something similar to that the other day. I squirted some WD40 into the hole you can see if you pull the outside handle as if to open the door. Worked for me. Worth a try before investigating anything more mechanical.
