Rover and MG Stand @ Ultimate Car Shw 14/05/2013

This year again we are putting together another Rover and the extended Rover family display at the event, and I would deeply love as many of the Classic Rover Club members to come along and join us on the day to help as there are many people of many ages who attend on the day! Nothing is limited, so everything with a Rover heritage is welcomed!

Earlier in the year the Ultimate Car Show in Larne was cancelled due to the horrific weather that this country experienced. For the last two years members of the a variety of modern MG and Rover clubs have had a united display at the event at the FGWilson/Caterpillar factory.

This year initially no plans where put together due to spacing issues by the organizers but now with a restructured date and twice as much space as initially planned another display has been put together and the organizers are pushing to encourage as many older and classic cars to come along as possible

After another hugely successful year in 2012 which the event raised £7000, The Ultimate Car Show has went from strength to strength. Both Sp.I.N.I and Larne Adult Centre received £3500 each to help with their ongoing work in the local area. After the exceptionally well attended show, in which there was an estimated 500 cars passed through the gate. This year the charities are Causeway Hospital Coronary Care Unit & Larne Adult Centre.

Cars are £8 to display and should you visit on the day £2 per entry. Contact the organizer Kevin either through [email protected] or his mobile 07786428691informing him you will be displaying on “The Rover Stand” to confirm your booking, however you can also confirm with Classic Rover Club member Colin Robson for your convince no later than 5st of May so we can play our display!

With MG Stunt Riding displays, Autotesting, prizes for cars off all ages and club displays along with a huge variety of fun on the day you would be crazy to miss it!

Date Sunday 12th May 2013 / Time 1pm to 5pm (Gates open from 10am close 1pm for car entry latest)

Meeting point for Rover owners attending will be KFC Larne at 10am on Sunday morning so not to early, and yes, should you need you can get out early from the event with no problems!

All show cars to be parked by 1pm.

Ive requested a MINIMUM of 25 cars for the event with the chances to stretch too more like last year. I feel the local crew could easily manage this and it has been in the past an excellent event to attend.

Anyone who's going to ultimate car show in larne can you please confirm via email or via a quick phone call with Kevin the organiser by Sunday (TODAy!!!) at 6pm at the latest to book your space on The Rover Stand
