Default CDTI Back Box

Well after 158850 miles the back box on my 2003 CDTI has finally given up, I have just put the car up on ramps and replaced it. I have to say the replacement one is most certainly not as quiet. I am thinking of getting some fibre glass insulation and putting this round the new box and secure it with a aluminium cover held in place by straps to try and reduce the noise. although I have to say that once up to cruising speed it is not that noisy, only when accelerating. Or maybe I should just leave as is. My next little job will be to replace the clutch, although I have to say there is nowt wrong with it at the moment, I wonder what's the highest mileage a CDTI clutch has covered before being replaced.
