Default Chrome side sill paint stripping

Hey all. I'm currently trying to remove the pair from my side sills as some has already flaked off and revealed the Crome.

I have been trying to strip the paint fronts rest but I'm having trouble stripping it. I have coves them with paint stripper an on one have got it down the the black primer but now I can't get any further. I have Evan tried to jet wash it off.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I also tried paint stripper, but with little success. Eventually I had all the trim professionally stripped chemically and the result was outstanding. The trim is stainless steel and not chromium plated by the way.
Good luck,
LL

i did this to mine, i left it coated in nitromors for two days and it didnt budge it! in the end i used some wet and dry in different grades to get it all off. it gave a brushed stainless finish in the end, which i quite like!
you could take it to a body shop for a dip in some proper stripper, but no idea how much it will cost.

Do you remember what grades you used?

Soaked it in Nitromors which didn't remove it so I used a heat gun to bake the paint until it bubbled then I flaked it off.
If you do go for the heat gun, make sure you use some decent gloves as the chrome strip gets very hot.
