Default 17" Meteors 215 50 or 225 45 ??

Anyone got any pics of a 75 with both sizes on. I like the idea of filling the arches, but have heard that both sizes can be used without detriment...I would if possible like the better ride quality of a taller profile.. Whats the consensus of opinion??

Cheers
N.

don't think there is a great deal of difference, I have 215 50 17 on my zt, and yes they help fill the arches, although mine will be lower than yours. 225 45 is a bit firmer ride, but not much.

Manual says 225/45/17 .So that's what I put on mine and they are fine.

I have 215/50/17 having gone from 225/45/17. They look better, are quieter and the ride is better. The latter will be partly having gone from a sports tyre (Bridgestones) to a tyre more in keping with the 75 (Barum Bravuris 2's).
Either way I wouldn' go back to the 45's, on a ZT however it would probably be a different story.

Pre facelift 75 had 225 45 17, facelift 75 had 215 50 17.
Difference is small, but 215 fill the arch a little more. Overall diameter for 215 is 64.68 cm and for 225 is 63.43 cm. Sidewall height is 10.75 versus 10.13
