Got my engine oil and filter yesterday (FOC Saturday delivery from ECP - wasn't expecting that!) - but its too darned cold for handling tools this morning, so that'll have to wait for warmer days.

Enjoy your get togethers folks - best wishes to all the attendees
Hope you've got your PELA pump at the ready. It's so so easy with one to change the oil. You don't even get your hands dirty and I know you said if you crouch down you can't get up again.

Had a go at rotavating mine a couple of days ago. Got half of it done but it is a big patch. Have had to stop now cos the temperature is below zero during the day as well as at night.

Roll on the spring. I really hate the cold now I'm old.

Its ordered - due for delivery next week - a Pela 6000 - £35.99 including delivery, which I though was a fair price?
I admit to the "getting back up problem" - crawled under the caravan to remove the spare wheel carrier last week - and nearly died of exposure before I could get back out again

Getting your car up on ramps safely then trying to get the undertray off--( Much harder to put back on !! ) Then removing the sump plug to have the pleasure of feeling that hot oil run down your arm into your armpit. Think of all those things you are going to miss.

The daft thing is - I used to enjoy doing that when I was a lad
Spending the weekend under a Moggy 1000 (loadsa grease nipples!), and A35 or a Ford Anglia was the next best thing to ......... Newcastle Brown Ale
