Default Your ZT in regular daily use - how many miles from new?

As my ZT passes its 8th birthday I've got to wondering how many miles other members' ZTs have clocked up.

For the first year of its life my car was a Longbridge manager's car (3,676 miles at the time I bought it at exactly a year old). For the next four and a half years it was my working vehicle (I was in sales and marketing before I retired). In the ensuing two and a half years to date it has remained our main means of transport, but these days we only tend to pootle about locally with the odd journey of an hour or so to see the kids from time to time, or occasionally a longer run when we go on holiday in the UK.

My mileage currently stands at 78,615 (which is an avarage of 9,827 per year of the car's life). If your ZT is your main car and you don't just keep it for sunny weekends and meets, how old is it and how many miles has it done?

I bought my 51 plate ZT last april and it had 46,000 on it, it has been my daily car and in a weeks time I will have owned it for a full year, it is now on 57,000 and hasn't missed a beat. It required an injection of cash to get it back up to scratch but as a daily car I can't fault it, albeit the V6 mpg.

My ZT is 10 years old, and has 74,000 miles under it's wheels.

My daily commute is 32 miles. The ZT gets used on 4 of those days. The other 2 I use my SLK, as the roads are nice & quiet on my way home and I can really put my foot down!

Yes, I work 6 days a week.

I make 4 trips to the outer isles of Scotland annually (1300 mile round trip), the ZT gets used for 2 of those trips as I need the boot space. The other 2 times I use the SLK, but that has a rather small boot!

The Zed has a hard life, but is over-serviced & wants for nothing, and I spend too much time detailing it!

My daily drive 53 plate ZT-T 120 is currently just south of 108,000. First owner did 67,000 before the first MOT. I bought it last October with 103,000 on the clock.

Well Ed the Zed will be 10 in October and he's currently done just over 82,500 miles, so an average of under 9,000 miles a year!

8 years old, 96k miles...38k done by me - mostly on LPG.
New battery, new clutch set up and some VIS fiddling is all she has had barring consumables. Still does about 9k miles a year now.

I bought my ZT from Jules in October 2007 (She's a 54 facelift model) with 28k on the clock. As of today she has 196k on her.
