Letting the side down
Looks a tidy clean 75. Hope it doesn't go to recycling. Mind you, no mot it suggests do who knows what it's like underneath.

This kind of owner will probably skimp on maintenance too. DVLA should at least auction the cars they seize. Parts or restoration is better than the crusher.

i agree with victorgate its a shame that people try and do get away with driving without insurance, license etc i have always made sure my car has always been taxed ,insured etc its not worth a car that you cherish going to the pound and possibly getting crushed they should sell on or donate for parts rgds mark

Unless the owner pays up and taxes and insures it it will go to the crusher unfortunately.

why not ask the police about buying the car, they do have an Auction site but I don't know if it covers all forces.

I have bought a couple of 75's that had been seized, one was lifted down at the scrapyard by forklift, I reconnected the battery and drove it home.

At our local auctions I once bought a 400 that had been seized by the police. Car turned out to be great - only problem was getting a V5. I contacted the DVLA after a week and they said I had to wait while they contacted the previous keeper. I can only imaging how that went....
