On topic, I bought my wife a 75 in June with the 160 already done. I can compare it with the 3 petrol 75’s that I’ve owned, 1.8T, 2 litre V6 and 2.5 V6. Lovely engine with lots of torque. Climbs hills like they are not there and returns 40mpg all the time with 45mpg on a proper motorway run with an auto box.
I’d happily buy another. Quality car, comfortable and relaxing to drive. Sadly they are only getting older and I’ve turned to a modern Peugeot as my daily drive. Wife does 4K per annum in her 75 and the TF is the fun car for the summer which also turns 40mpg. Since losing my job in October and becoming self employed it’s only wise to have the current fleet of 3 cars instead of 5.
