I've re read the quote and he does indeed state the first coat is a Zinc primer. I'll ask what top coat is used.

Dropped off all 4 arms this morning. I'm away for a week so I've told him I will call him Monday 23rd to see if they are done.

I de-rusted one using electrolysis, it worked surprisingly well. A lot - lot slower than sandblasting though ( like a week ).

I'm happy with the result. As they are original or at least I know they are not poor Indian copies, I will store them.

Hi Vic .
They look really good did they say what top coat was used, did you change the bushes? it as got to be worth preserving good arms and will be quite a lot less than purchasing new Indian ones that's for sure.

Zinc primer and powder coated on top. He told me upon collection he would have preferred the bushes removed. A bit late by then. When fitted I will fill them with Dinitrol and coat the outside. I say fit them but not sure when because both 75’s have new ones already with the same Dinitrol treatment. They may end up on another project in the future? It’s a bit of insurance for the future as I know they fit and if parts become scarce I have a set.
