Default Battery box diesel

I want to swap battery boxes over from one car to another.
What is involved?
Is it a pain to do?

Not really. Remove the battery and you will see the bolts in the base of the box. Undo and remove.

It may be worth soaking the bolts in penetrating oil, as mine were a right pain.
Also, make sure the bit you use to undo them is a good quality item and is the exact right size!

After you have removed all the push in connectors that hold various pipes near the ubp, you need to remove the pipe that sits under the box towards the bulkhead. This is held by a metal clip that is part of the box.And then an electric cable under the box towards the front of the box is tied on by a small clip. I broke mine because I could not see it hidden underneath the box.

You are not far from me. I’m just south of Evesham. Free after 4 on Saturday and most of Sunday if you need a hand.
