Tourer rear LH chrome strip WANTED
The chrome strip nearest the tailgate (Rimmer part No DDE101591MMM) but no longer available from them. The original has been bent back because of a broken clip and is now useless. Hopefully, there's someone out there with one to sell? Although LH and RH parts were listed, I don't see why they shouldn't be interchangeable.

They are not interchangeable..I know because I got them wrong when I refitted them. They have a subtly different curve.

The difference occurs because although the curve of the car rear is the same right and left, the strips are not vertical and hence have splay angle to them.

Hi, I dismantled my old Rover 75 tourer about a year ago, I have many small parts and bits of trim. If you could measure and let me know what both ends look like, I will probably have one.

Thanks for the offer! I'll measure it when I get home but in the meantime, if you look at this page on the Rimmer website, http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID001807 it's item 8 for the LH (near side) of the car. It's the strip closest to the tailgate. I'll post the length later.
