Agreed, I have a 45 which looks similiar to a MK1 75, but prefer the facelift 75 tourer , the rear bumper on my tourer also is much nicer imho.

I'm not saying I'm with the minority but the mk2 looks more modern than the mk1. I actually prefer the mk2 MG ZT but prefer the mk1 75. I've had many of both so feel i can give a fair comment. I love the tourer model but that's because i can throw so much in the back of it.
It's all down to personal taste but whatever the decision is go for as much spec as possible. Good luck and welcome |

I'd have to go with the mk1 saloon. I'm not hot on the front end of the mk2 and have never been a fan of estate cars!

ZT - Mk1 - the mesh grille gives it a more aggressive look imo
75 - Mk2 for me - Mk1 is a bit too pretty and a little feminine, perfect as a thinking woman's car Having said all of that, both variants are streets ahead of the alternatives. |

My choice:
1) 75 Tourer Premium Grille 2) ZT T Mk II 3) 75 Saloon Premium Grille 4) 75 Saloon Mk I 5) 75 Tourer Mk I 6) 75 Tourer Mk II 7) 75 Saloon Mk II 8) ZT T Mk I 9) ZT Mk II 10) ZT Mk I That's a very personal choice, I like them all and would like one each and the gap between number 1 and number 10 is very small indeed. I think the Mk1 75 looks classier but the Mk2 looks fresher and slightly more modern. Out of curiosity, was there much changed under the skin? I know the MK2 diesel only has one fuel pump, an improved one presumably? What else changed?
