From what I can gather, and I don't know how accurate this information is, but both 355192 and 193 were ZT saloons. The former being a 180 auto and 193 being a CDTi.
If mine is 354939 Wouldn't it be 255 from the last 75 or ZT? |

Am I right in thinking then, that Frank Incensed and I have the youngest (by chassis number) cars in the club? Franks is Definitely the youngest 75, but is mine the youngest ZT/ZTT? Both Tourers and both CDTi autos as well.

I think the production numbers for 2004 include also a few MK 1s, both 75's and ZT's My calculation was based on first facelift vin number being 321638. Luciano |

There were no Mk.1 75's leaving the production line after the Christmas break in 2004. The difference in numbers could be due to Mk.1 75's being put back on the line and converted to facelift 75's. Although I have no evidence of this. As there are no comprehensive records available from MG Rover, a lot of production data is suspect. Dave T |

A common situation.
My car was built on the 30th June 2000, but not registered until the 1st March 2001. (the day they changed the tax to emissions!!!) If you PM Xpart02 he can let you know the build date of your car. A very helpful bloke
