Default Laptop mouse pad buttons

Not really a technical question, just looking for suggestions...

My HP Compaq laptop has a very annoying design feature, the buttons for the mouse pad and the pas itself, blend in perfectly with the surrounding surface. It makes finding the buttons or the pad impossible without glancing down.

So I'm thinking stick something tactile on the buttons and around the pad, to make them a bit more usable - ideas please?

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

you can buy from ebay laptop vinyl stickers these are designed for the lid of the laptop but you can cut them to fit anything you could surround the mouse pad and cover the buttons ect

Its a Presario CQ62 - it seems to be a commonly compalined about problem with the model.

Thanks, I'll look into that

I would have thought HP might have done some user testing on these laptops. SWMBO has my models immediate predecessor - almost identical, just styling changes, more ram, larger HDD and its fine, nice tactile pad area and buttons you can find by touch.

Mine gives no clues as to where the pad is and the buttons blend in with the rest of the surface, unless you look closely for them.
