There are two types - inverted and non-inverted. The cuts could be in the wrong wires.

One of the reasons that I cut'n'shut the injector wires near to the ECU wherever possible.

Although thinking about it, I don't think that would prevent running on petrol. Would prevent running on gas, certainly.

ok call me silly
but the old set up incorporated no injector loom just cuts from the ECU.
here we have no cuts just a loom.............
am i assuming that the cats need to be incorporated into the cars ECU?
All i can see from the instructions blending the 2 is an igintion feed!

Whether it's done with a piggy-back loom or cut'n'shut, it comes down to the same thing. Each petrol injector non-common lead is effectively cut and the two ends connected to the gas ECU. When the gas is off then the connection is maintained via a relay contact.

Just looks a little more complex when using the plug and socket looms.

am i assumingthe relay is in the ECU?

Default the reason

the reason i say that is that i see no integration to the injectore or anything bar the switched live.
I know the ecu outputs the feeds,,,,,but i would expect more.

2 wires per injector, one more to pick up ignition live and one wire for revs are the only connections to the engine wiring necessary to operate the LPG system. Add the 12V and ground and all the rest of the wires are solely for the gas.
Latest systems don't even need the revs as a seperate wire.

Cheers B,
to be honest thats the take i had on the situation and as far as i can see i have all the wires bar the ignition live at the moment.
I have plugged the new ECU in and disconnected all the other wires (so the injectors are online) yet still i have an ECU light on....................the only other thing is that the electrics were off overnight whilst i was 'mid fit'

Totally at a loss so i will take the injector leads off the injectros so its back to as it was and see if that makes a difference.
Any other ideas let me know hey............like fuses i donnt know about?i am sure thats what i had before.....but they all look fine!
