Car Ramps ?
Has anybody tried these ramps with a ZT. They look the biz but can we drive onto them without adding additional timber to prevent our front valance catching ?

Lowest height eight inches,
Would need to see a Pair and our cars to tell. Doesn't sound that low, but depends also on rate of Height I expect. Can they be seen anywhere locally Tim?. |

I wonder what the weight limit is, our cars weigh a lot more than a Moggie. My mechanical mind wonders about the load on that screw thread as you start to lift.I have been thinking of a simple spigot shaped adaptor with an inverted "U" section welded underneath, one each side in the jacking points.Jack the car up from the front or rear, adaptors in their holes, scaffold pole right across under the car, then drop the ends of said pole into the saddles of an axle stand each side.P.

The manufacturer is near Bury, I was hoping a member had a set and could answer.
As for weight, i'm sure they are upto holding at least a tonne each therefore should be ok for our cars. I did send them an e-mail asking about another one of their products but they must be to busy to answer. |
