I'm interested in one for the price. Is it going to be a group buy or is the listing link being posted on here then individuals request them?

I had one of those fitted, canot remember if it was from that chap. I had it on for just over a month , when I notice that when I opened the bonnet it did not feel right. So checked the cables and found that one of the lungs on it had split and very lose. it went into the bin and now the original one whent back on and I will keep to that one from now on

This one is made of TPC filament, which is a flexible filament that will not deform or break when stressed by bending (charpy notched impact strength test) and has shown ″flexural memory″ which allows it to return to its original shape after being bent, dented, or folded. In addition to its high flexibility, this filament features many additional beneficial properties such as high temperature resistance, good chemical resistance, high strength, and excellent UV resistance, just right for where we’re going to put the box!
Quite important to use the correct filament on the 3D printer to ensure the box has the required properties .🤞 Quote:

I could be interested, price dependant, though l've had no trouble with my original as yet.
I also have one of the E-zee Hans gauges, to be fitted quite soon hopefully.

I not that cable ferrules slot into their openings at each end of the box, did these feel secure, as with the originals they have to be clipped in, I have a feeling over time these could wear and maybe pull out ? I don't think I have ever seen the bonnet cables pull out of an original box, only the cable from the lever to the box, then only if the mod as not been implemented

Don't forget after ppd, the plastic used for these boxes was a lot thinner(and cheaper) than the early ones.

I've secured the original boxes with a decent, thick cable tie around the adjoining steel bodywork and not had a problem since.
We have to remember that this problem has only arisen later in the cars life due to muck, corrosion & lack of maintenance causing the bonnet latches to become stiff and therefore increasing the load on the splitter. Take the latches off, strip, clean lubricate and refit, clean and lube inside the original splitter, use a strong cable tie (belt & braces ) and all will be well
